What members can borrow from the collection • Members can request up to 3 items (books or DVDs) at a time to be posted to them , or up to 4 items if picked up from the InfoHub. Loan periods are:

#Books: 4 weeks (Books may be recalled after 2 weeks if reserved)

#DVDs: 2 weeks

• Reminders will be sent to return items • Renewals are possible if no other member has reserved the item. Please contact the InfoHub to arrange.

How members can borrow 1. Search the ACSInfoHub catalogue here - https://www.librarycat.org/lib/ACSInfoHub/ #Members are permitted borrowing up to 2 items at once and items can be posted or be picked up. 2. Complete a request form with your membership number and we will be in touch! #Details of items can be copied and pasted from the InfoHub catalogue onto the form, one item per form.

3. Once the request is received you will be emailed a quote indicating the cost of loan and postage. #If you accept the quote you will be automatically emailed an invoice 4. Once your payment is received your online order will be processed

#Resources can posted directly to you or your office OR you can arrange to pick up from the ACS InfoHub 5. Reminders to return loaned items will be sent 3 days before due date, and overdue reminders sent after the due date if items are not returned.


6. Extensions of loans may be permitted depending if there is a waiting list or not.

7. Return post will be at your expense OR you can arrange with the InfoHub to drop off the loans #Post return to the InfoHub postal address: ACS InfoHub c/- Uniting NSW.ACT PO Box 7137 Silverwater NSW 2128 OR #Visit the InfoHub

Members are invited to arrange an appointment to visit the InfoHub to browse, scan, borrow or return items to avoid postal charges. Members can borrow at a reduced rate of up to 4 items for $25.00 and are responsible for returning by the due date.

Late Fees and Fines: Late returns incur a fine of $1.00 per day per item. The maximum fine per item is $20.00 after which it will be deemed lost and members will be invoiced for the replacement cost. Damaged or Lost Items:

#Members are responsible for the care of borrowed item and will be deemed accountable if the item goes missing or is damaged. #Sharing of items is not permitted without permission from the InfoHub. The last person registered with the loan will be responsible for its return or replacement cost if lost

#Fees for damaged or lost items are based on the replacement cost of the item + admin fee ($25).

#Items are deemed LOST if they are overdue by 2 weeks and the member will be invoiced for the cost to replace the item + admin fee. If item is still not returned the membership will be blocked
